This semester establishes the essential foundations for studying the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, covering his ﷺ noble lineage, blessed birth, early life, exemplary character, the beginning of Divine Revelation, the Prophetic Mission, the stages of Da‘wah, the perseverance of the early believers, persecution, the migrations to Abyssinia, and the Year of Sorrow. Students explore the Seerah through the Qur’an, Sunnah, history, human psychology, and human nature, while developing timeless skills and values such as faith, character development, emotional resilience, patience, perseverance, communication, ethical leadership, decision-making, adaptability, crisis management, and commitment to purpose. This semester explores the beginning of the Madinan era, from the establishment of Al-Masjid al-Nabawi ﷺ and Ahl al-Ṣuffah to the formation of the Islamic community and the early major expeditions and battles. Students examine Prophetic models of community building, brotherhood, leadership, governance, justice, consultation, strategic planning, crisis and risk management, courage, resilience, and conflict management. These lessons are connected to contemporary life, equipping students to build strong communities and respond to challenges with wisdom, teamwork, responsibility, and principled leadership.

This semester completes the Madinan Era through pivotal events including the Treaty of al-Ḥudaybiyyah, the Conquest of Makkah, the Farewell Pilgrimage, the completion of the Prophetic mission, and the final days of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Students explore his ﷺ Shamā’il, noble character, emotional intelligence, and diverse roles as a teacher, leader, husband, father, community builder, and mentor, alongside the completion of the Qur’an and Sharī‘ah, the finality of Prophethood, and the Qur’an and Sunnah as enduring sources of guidance until the Day of Judgment. These timeless lessons are applied to contemporary life through ethical leadership, emotional maturity, family relationships, education, conflict resolution, justice, decision-making, and purposeful living, culminating in a practical understanding of the Prophet’s ﷺ timeless legacy.
